Sniff Job ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS mobile application ("App") and related services. By using Sniff Job, you agree to this Policy.
1. Introduction
This Policy applies to the Sniff Job iOS application and related services provided by CVP CHAT LTD. Other Sniff Job properties (e.g., our website) may be covered by separate policies.
2. Information We Collect
a) Personal Information
- Name, email address, and profile picture (when you sign in with Google, LinkedIn, or Sign in with Apple).
- Résumé/CV data you provide (work history, education, skills).
- Voice input (if you use the AI voice assistant) — processed in real time and not stored beyond what’s necessary to provide the feature.
b) Non-Personal Information
- Device and app data (model, OS version, language, region, general identifiers such as IDFV).
- Product interaction and usage statistics (features used, frequency).
- Diagnostics and crash logs (to improve stability and performance).
- IP address and standard server logs.
c) Job Listings Data
- Links and the content of job listings you choose to analyze in the App.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive data such as health information, financial account numbers, or government IDs.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the App and services.
- Analyze job listings and generate credibility scores.
- Help create ATS-friendly CVs, cover letters, and job documents.
- Authenticate accounts and maintain security.
- Send service-related notifications and important updates.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)
We process personal data based on: performance of a contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (App security, improvement), consent (where required, e.g., certain notifications), and legal obligations.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:
- Service Providers (hosting, analytics, AI processing, authentication, customer support) under contractual data protection terms;
- Legal/Compliance when required by law;
- Business Transfers (e.g., merger or acquisition), with notice to users.
6. App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and Advertising
We do not use personal data for cross-app tracking or third-party targeted advertising. If we ever introduce tracking features, we will request your permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework and will proceed only with your explicit consent.
7. Sign in with Apple
If you choose Sign in with Apple, we respect Hide My Email and Apple’s server-to-server account change notifications (where enabled). If you revoke consent or delete your Apple account, we will act upon the notification to update or delete your App account accordingly.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service or meet legal requirements. Upon account deletion or a valid erasure request, we aim to delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days. Backups may persist for up to 90 days and are purged on a rolling basis.
9. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS in transit, secure storage, access controls). No system is 100% secure, but we regularly review and improve our technical and organizational measures.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us to remove it.
11. Your Rights
Under GDPR/UK data protection laws, you may:
- Access your personal data;
- Request correction or deletion;
- Object to or restrict processing;
- Withdraw consent (where applicable);

- OpenAI API (AI text analysis for job listings and CV assistance).
